THE RAINBOW STRIPE TREND
Rainbow stripes always remind me of the 90’s. Specifically, the denim jeans I had with the rainbow stripe down the side. Anyone else have a pair of those growing up? I rocked mine with a Daffy Duck t-shirt on the reg.
HOW TO MAKE IT MODERN
Nowadays, the rainbow stripe trend is much more mature, but just as much fun. If you’re wanting to rock the boldest and brightest of prints, my suggestion is wearing it in the form of a casual dress, knit sweater, or even on an accessory!
WHAT I WORE
I ordered this rainbow striped maxi dress from asos as my first dip into the rainbow look (I’m obsessed with their maxi dress options!) I’ve gotten so many compliments on it so far! It gets a few extra bonus points because it’s also stretchy and fits over my bump (can you believe we’re in our 9th month now?!)
Since the dress is such a statement maker, I kept everything else neutral with gray accessories and a pair of black, heart-shaped sunglasses.

I’ve been seeing this trend everywhere lately. It’s a little bit to bold for my style, thus I’ve been liking it when the colours are more muted! It seems to be the perfect dress for the baby bump! I bet it’s really comfortable as well and the material is super lightweight and soft for the summer 🙂
