  1. Hold a Backyard BBQ : Since Mike and I spent most of our summer taking care of our newborn, we made sure to still make time to grill out and enjoy the summer nights outside underneath our pergola where it wasn’t too hot.
  2. Go out for some ice cream or frozen yogurt: We probably have done this too many times this summer. Extra rainbow jimmies please!
  3. Be a tourist for a day in your own city: Why not go exploring and act like your on vacation.
  4. Go on a quick road trip: Pick a spot that isn’t too far away and head out for a weekend getaway.
  5. Hit up the local pool: I’m going to get into a swimsuit before the summer ends if it’s the last thing I do! Hahah.
  6. Go to a baseball game: I’m not a big sports fan, but there’s something about baseball games that is just so perfectly summer.
  7. Make a Scrapbook: I did one online! Check out that post here.
  8. Wear all white as long as you can!: Example above
  9. Get one last bright colored manicure: I’m thinking about lime green.
  10. Wear all your summer sundresses now: You can always restyle them in the fall, but why not make them extra summery with a pair of sandals and a straw bag?
  11. Visit a flower farm/botanical garden: We did this when my family was in town and it was so pretty!
  12. Plan a treat-yo-self day: Because that’s always acceptable.
  13. Eat s’mores: We have a fire pit we still haven’t used! Thinking about finally breaking it in one night and roasting some mallows.
  14. Watch a drive-in movie: One of my favorite summer memories as a kid.
  15. Pour yourself a great summer cocktail: I actually have a few yummy (and easy) summer cocktail recipes I made up. You can find those here.I also love a good frozen rose.
