While I’m not writing off coin necklaces and nameplates completely (they’re so easy to stack and have a really cool vintage feel), there’s a new jewelry trend on the block and it’s giving me all the summer vibes.

AN UPDATE TO THE 90’S FAVORITE

But, don’t think of this year’s jewelry trend as a complete 90’s flashback. This season’s pieces are an updated version. Think more Vogue and less souvenir shop purchase from your childhood vacation. There are of course your retro ivory shell pieces, but for a more mature look you can find gold designs, and other embellishments as well. They’re polished, pretty, and the perfect addition to your necklace stack.
