HOW I’M WEARING 5 OF THIS FALL’S BIGGEST TRENDS: FASHION HAUL WITH LAS VEGAS NORTH PREMIUM OUTLETS

New York Fashion Week just wrapped up, and the street style was on POINT! From wild prints to extreme color and fancy footwear… it was so exciting! I couldn’t wait to go out and pick up a few trendy pieces for myself. So, I stopped by Las Vegas North Premium Outlets for a little shopping spree. Here’s what I got… 

 TREND #1 : PLAID

Plaid is EVERYWHERE this season! I picked up this Sanctuary plaid midi dress/top and love how it looks with these over the knee lace up boots from Mi.iM. I plan on re-styling this dress by unbuttoning it and wearing it over a t-shirt and jeans.

TREND #2: COWBOY BOOTS

Love it or hate it, cowboy boots are definitely a huge trend for the fall. I have a knee high black pair from my mom, but I wanted to pick up a pair of ankle length ones as well. I ended up getting two pairs from Steve Madden, one in black and the other in cognac. For more western inspiration, check out my recent post where I share 15 cowboy boots under $200!

TREND #3: POLKA DOTS

This print never really goes out of style, and this season we’re seeing it in a bunch of different colors! I personally love the classic black and white (like this Free Generation blouse) because you can mix it with so many other different prints. It looks great paired with stripes, floral, even leopard print (another popular fall trend. I actually did a whole post on how to rock animal print in your everyday style). For this outfit I chose to keep things simple with black denim and some white slingbacks.

TREND #4 : TWO TONE JEANS

I’ll probably never get sick of high waisted mom jeans, but this season it’s all about unique denim.Baggy jeans, super-cuffed jeans and two-tone jeans are taking over, and I for one LOVE this pair by  Lea & Viola because they’re  half denim, half sweatpants! They’re so unexpected and REALLY comfortable.

TREND #5: THE BELT BAG

In my opinion, the belt bag is THE accessory of the year. Whether worn across your waist or slung across your shoulder, the trend is definitely catching on like crazy. Plus, it’s so functional!
