Casual with combat boots

While I definitely enjoyed my time in Pittsburgh visiting family, I’m excited to be back in Las Vegas. Back with my husband, and back with my closet! 😉

I’ve been really into comfort lately and love how this dress feels basically like pajamas. I wore it as a skirt here with an old sweater from Banana Republic. It’s not too chilly here in Vegas right now, so I like how it’s light-weight and easy to layer. Also, these boots are back in my life and I’m so excited about it! They were missing for nearly six months! I accidentally left them in California while visiting friends and then got lost in the mail. Somehow they found their way back to me (or UPS finally figured things out) and I’m PUMPED.

If you don’t already have a pair of combat boots I highly recommend you get some. I wear mine year round. I found these Justin Boots at a thrift store here in Vegas years ago. But honestly, I would’ve paid full price for them. It’s worth the cost when you know you’re going to get a lot of wear out of them. Plus, stores change their inventory so often so If you find a pair you like – buy them. They may not be around next season.

For instance, these black boots are sold out, but I put a link to a similar brown pair by the same brand at the bottom of this post. Trust me. They last. If you love the black color, I also included a link to a similar style by Steve Madden.

Dress: Thrifted (similar here by BILLABONG – also love this version by LULU’S // Sweater: BANANA REPUBLIC (old) // Purse: SAM & LIBBY (similar here from ZAPPOS) // Boots: JUSTIN BOOTS ( old, brown version here– similar style here by STEVE MADDEN)

Thanks for stopping by The Nomis Niche!

Love, Lindsey
