JANUARY PURCHASES (UNDER $50)

New year, New thangs. I have had so many things in my cart since December, but didn’t want to buy them for myself (that Christmas guilt – ya feel?!) Now that we’re past the holidays I’m ready to hit “PURCHASE” on the items I’ve had my eye on for so long! Here is what I’m swooning over…

ACCESSORIES

GRAY WINTER WEATHER PIECES

Last year I lost my gray scarf and thought it would turn up at some point. Guess what? It didn’t. (I still think one of my sisters has it hidden, but I don’t want to point fingers.)

Instead of just getting another gray scarf, I thought… why not go full on Paris style and get a matching beret as well! I found this scarf and gray beret from asos… both under $20!

AND A POP OF COLOR

I also figured… why not add a little color?! So I threw this pink scarf in my cart as well.

FISHNETS

Yes, the fishnet craze hit last fall. But, I’m really into it right now. I bought fishnet stockings as well as some socks to make my summer heels more cold-weather appropriate.

SHOES

METALLIC HEELS

I had to throw out my old metallic heels a few months back because they were absolutely destroyed. I really wore them that much! So, I just decided to hit the purchase button on a pair of super sleek silver ankle strap heeled sandals (only $39!!!) . I’ll wear them with fishnet socks/stockings in the winter until it’s warm enough to wear them by themselves.

CLOTHING

SKIRTS & PANTS

I’ve been trying to find pieces that will work now (while it’s cold) and later when the weather heats up. I found this super cute midi length skirt on asos and can’t wait to pair it with a mustard sweater and boots/a coat in the winter and with a t-shirt and sneakers in the spring/summer.

I’ve also been on the hunt for a pair of snakeskin pants, but had a hard time committing to one. A lot of them are very expensive. I didn’t want to commit too much to one because I feel like they are a very trendy piece. However, I found this pair by Misguided and it hit the trend as well as my budget!

TWO-PIECES

Two-pieces became huge this past year, but mostly it was crop tops and high waisted skirts and pants for summer. I found a really cute two-piece cold-weather outfit (mock neck sweater and high waist midi skirt) via asos and I may just wear this outfit at NYFW!

SWEATERS

Even though I live in Vegas, I still can’t stop buying sweaters. I don’t buy expensive ones because honestly… I rarely get to wear them. But, I fell in love with this light blue knit ($23) and this bright pink sweater. Sold out, similar here for only $34.

BEAUTY

I’ve been using Revlon PhotoReady Insta-Filter foundation for the past few months and really love it as far as drugstore makeup is concerned. I also bought another bottle of Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation for when I’m on-air or taking pictures of the blog. It’s full coverage and makes your skin look flawless!

OK… that’s it for now. Once these items come in I’m sure I’ll do a “try-on” via Instagram stories. Stay tuned!
