If a suede mini skirt isn’t on your fall must-have list already then it’s time to throw that sucker on it. I know I’m always talking about how “versatile” a piece is… but that’s because it’s so important to me. I like to re-mix and re-wear my closet, and a suede skirt is something I know I’ll be able to wear over and over again.
SHOP MY LOOK:
Skirt: ROMWE /Denim Jacket: AMERICAN EAGLE OUTFITTERS (old, similar HERE and HERE)/ Striped top: old (similar HERE) / Sandals: FOREVER 21 (sold out, but I found them HERE) / Bandana: URBAN OUTFITTERS/ Purse: VIPme
I wanted to layer up a bit, so I paired this suede skirt with a striped top and a denim jacket. For a little bit of color I tied a red bandana to my purse and swiped on some red lipstick. I’m also going to wear these studded sandals for as long as possible. They’re Isabel Marant knock-offs and they’ve sold out on pretty much website that carried them. But… I did some searching and I found them for you! Just click on the link at the beginning of this post.
As for why you need a suede skirt…
Like I said, it’s an incredibly versatile piece. You can wear it with a chunky sweater and over-the-knee boots for a comfy cozy look. You can also throw on your favorite band tee with a pair of bada$$ booties for an edgier look. They also look great with turtlenecks and lace up blouses or bodysuits. Check out my Pinterst and follow me for more suede skirt styling inspiration. I have a lot of them posted on my Fall-Winter board.
Also… I’ve been wearing my hair back like this A LOT lately. It’s actually a really easy hairstyle and only takes a few minutes! I’ll upload a Snapchat (@thenomisniche) tutorial later today on how I did it.
