We all have our closet staples: that pair of jeans that goes with everything, a leather jacket, the perfect white tee… and for me… the ultimate white dress. I’m talking about the dress you can style year round (yes even in the colder months!) This dress from VIPMe is that staple piece you’ve been looking for. Allow me to explain…
SHOP MY LOOK:
When I was younger I begrudgingly followed the “no white after Labor Day” rule. But, now that I’m out of hair bows and underwear with the names of the day on them (actually, come to think of it…I’d really like a new set of those) I happily break the rule, because that’s what today’s style is all about. Plus, that rule is sooo 1995. I’ve actually styled this dress 8 different ways! I’ve split them up into how to wear it 4 different ways now, and then another 4 ways to wear it when fall rolls around. Those posts will come later on The Nomis Niche. But first, let’s talk about the dress itself.
I’ve teamed up with VIPMe before (see that post HERE). So, I already knew the quality would be amazing. This dress is very well made and comes with a removable slip so you won’t have to worry about it getting ruined in the wash. Also – considering sheer pieces are super hott right now, it’s always nice to have a white slip to go underneath your other pieces as well. I love midi length dresses, and because this one has a chiffon feel to it, it doesn’t wrinkle easily (very important when you’re traveling). You can also leave it untied at the waist for a more sheath silhouette or tie it like I did to cinch the waist.
I also received this purse from VIPMe and I’m already obsessed. The quilting makes it feminine while the chain detail keeps it edgy – just how I like it. It’s quickly become my new favorite purse. No joke… I’ve had it for one week and I’ve already worn it five times.
