It’s currently 116 degrees out. I’m not exaggerating… that’s really what the temperature is reading. And while I’d normally stay inside and hide from the sun like a vampire, some days there’s just no way around it. So, today I’m sharing some of my personal styling tips for beating the heat.

I don’t know about you, but I’m in full-blown warm weather mode. While I’m constantly shopping, (it’s a problem, but hey… it’s also my job right?!) this time of year is particularly exciting because I allow myself one big spending spree. Today I’m sharing (an extended version) of my spring and summer wish list.
This dress is definitely my new favorite piece from ROMWE – and for only $18 it’s incredibly well made and very breathable so I stay cool in the hot Vegas sun!

There’s no doubt the off the shoulder look has been one of the top trends this summer, and if I were a betting woman (which I am) I’d bet on the trend continuing well into the fall. But, sometimes when you’ve been wearing a certain style for so long, it can get kind of stale. That’s why I love this pom pom version from ROMWE!

Our last big trip of the summer was to Kentucky for my good friend’s wedding. But, before heading down to Somerset, I stopped in Lexington to visit the place I called home for four years while attending the University of Ketnucky (Go Cats!)
