Every fall/winter season I find a sweater that I end up wearing all season long. Sometimes I feel bad because I neglect the other sitting in my closet (like they have feelings :/ whatever). Well this gray mock-neck sweater from ROMWE has become THAT piece for me and I’ll tell you why…

 First reason?

It’s a mock neck. No offense to turtlenecks, but sometimes when I wear them I feel like someone is strangling me (anyone else feel that way?). A mock neck is the perfect medium.

Secondly, it’s neutral.

You can pretty much wear gray with anything! I’ve worn this sweater with jeans and sneaks, over pencil skirts (like you see in this post) and with pleated skirts. I’ve even worn it over some of my dresses to make them more casual.

It also fits great.

It hits at the perfect spot. Do you know what I mean? That spot that isn’t too long and hits at the widest part of your leg and isn’t a crop cut either. It hits right at my hip and is just slouchy enough so I can do that blogger favorite “half tuck”. It isn’t too bulky either so I can easily wear it underneath a jacket.

Sidenote This red skirt is stage one of me trying to add more color into my wardrobe. I’m currently working on a post with easy ways to incorporate color into outfits, so stay tuned for that!

P.S. Did you all get the latest edition of People Style Watch?! I was featured in their blogger section! That was actually one of my goals for 2017, so you can imagine my excitement 🙂

Thank you all so much for stopping by The Nomis Niche and I really do read every comment. It means so much that you take time out of your day to stop by my nook of the blogger world. You all are the best!

  2. Great outfit, I love the red skirt and heels, and the sweater looks so cozy. I’m also not a fan of turtlenecks, I’d rather wear a scarf loosely around my neck haha.
