TRENDY/TRADITIONAL

While trends come and go, there’s one spring style that will ALWAYS be in… pastels. The best part is that you don’t have to wait until the temperatures warm up to wear them. There are plenty of cold-weather appropriate pastel styles that you can rock right now. Here are some examples…

WHAT I’M WEARING

I chose to pair a blush slip dress with a bow detail top (similar here) layered underneath for added warmth. While I love the look of it, I’ve realized that satin is a little difficult to pull off with a growing baby bump. I’m glad I wore it before it doesn’t fit anymore!

As for the details, I went with white booties and a pair of white rimmed sunglasses (sold out, but similar here). I thought the sunnies gave the outfit a bit of a retro feel while the booties kept things edgy and modern.

LIFE UPDATE

Now that I’m back in Vegas I’m feeling reenergized and motivated. Only problem is… I have too many things I’d like to cover! So, what would you like more of? Outfits, beauty, home decor, maternity updates, DIY, hair? Let me know what you’re interested in!

As for the pregnancy, things are humming along just fine. I’m so thankful that I didn’t have any morning sickness! For awhile I thought their might be something wrong with me or the baby, but the doctor assured me everything is just fine and the baby is healthy. I have noticed a few other odd side effects though. I could write up another pregnancy update if you’re into it. There are so many things I’ve experienced that I didn’t read in the books, and I’d love to share that with you.

As always, thank you so much for stopping by!

Love, Lindsey
