SEQUIN BOMBER JACKET | VIPme

Daytime sequins with a bomber jacket - The Nomis Niche

When you hear the word sequins… what comes to mind? If you’re like me… you’re thinking of prom dresses, pageant queens and Las Vegas club dresses (Yes, I’m wearing this jacket in Vegas, but bare with me on this one). Sequins can sometimes get a bad reputation, but when you put sequins on a bomber jacket like the one I’m wearing here it becomes something different. It works for daytime and becomes something that’s less New Year’s Eve cliche and more casual cool.

As someone who doesn’t really go for sequins, I was surprised by how excited I got when I saw this jacket on the VIPme website. I’ve seen sequin shorts, tops, skirts and blazers before – but a sequin bomber jacket seemed so uniquely cool and something that I could easily wear with jeans and  a tee… which is exactly what I did here.

Sequins shouldn’t be confined to red carpets or bougie affairs anymore! They’re totally wearable in everyday life!

The Shmoop and I went down to Fremont Street the other day to grab a bite and just take in the Vegas vibe, and I thought it was the perfect time to breakout this gem. I paired it with my new favorite “Tequila” tee because… why not?! We’re in Vegas!

This isn’t my first love affair with VIPme… I also love to shop the site for unique occasion / work-wear dresses and their bags are amazing! They offer similar versions of your favorite designer purses like Yves Saint Laurent and Chanel at a fraction of the cost!

  2. I am not really fan of sequin, I only have a few pieces that I wear at parties. Sequin bomber jacket looks so cool tho, you can wear it with a casual outfit or for a night out!
