Anyone who knows me knows I love my band tees. One of the reasons is because they’re so versatile. They’re not just for jeans anymore! You can dress them up or down depending on the look you’re going for. I’ve included two examples of how you could style your favorite tee. One with some color, the other with a more neutral palette.

 

What’s YOUR favorite way to dress up a tee?

 

When I need a little style inspiration I always look to Olivia Palermo. Her outfits are never boring, but every piece seems to go together seamlessly.

For this ‘look 4 less’ recreation I knew that the Christian Louboutin booties would have to be replaced for a more budget friendly version (insert huge sigh here). HOWEVER, I came across this pair from TopShop and they have gold soles so you stil get a semi-similar effect.

Next up, leopard print skirt. I haven’t come across a lot of them in stores, so you may have to go online for this one. You can just click the link below to take a peek at the version I’ve included here.

And don’t you LOVE chunky knit sweaters paired with blazers? I do! Plus, when you throw in an orange purse/clutch it allows you to mix navy and black. That color combo is no longer a style no-no ladies!

If you haven’t admitted that you are ‘Team T-Swift’ by now then you’re lying to yourself. I bought Taylor’s 1989 album awhile ago and I still listen to it on repeat in my car. She’s on top of the world right now, and what’s even better, is she’s constantly giving back to fans.
I’m also loving her style. I chose to re-create this look for less because it includes pieces a lot of you probably already have in your closet.
My favorite part is the plaid on plaid mix. When separated by a coat, it looks really pulled together.
Also, fingerless gloves are a must! Hello… texting!
