NEW YEAR’S EVE OUTFIT INSPIRATION

Happy Friday everyone! New Year’s Eve is just a few days away, so I thought I’d offer up some outfit suggestions that you can wear on the big night as well as into the new year.

It’s not often that I get all gussied up, but New Year’s Eve is one of those times. I actually wore this Vera Wang tea dress to our friends’ wedding here in Vegas, but thought it would make for a great classy NYE outfit as well.

I found it at Nordstrom Rack on sale, and thought it would be a nice addition to my closet considering it has room in the midsection (great for a growing baby belly!) To keep things occassion-appropriate, I added touches of gold with a clutch and my favorite Kendra Scott earrings. I’ve also been loving this leopard print jacket by Love Your Mumu. Looks great with a dress or with ripped jeans and a t-shirt.

The Shmoop and I will most likely be spending this New Year’s Eve at home just the two of us. We’ve actually never done that, and we figured it would be a nice change of pace, especially since I can’t be guzzling champagne this year – ha! But, that doesn’t mean I’m not on the hunt for some great party dresses. My favorite type of New Year’s Eve outfit is one that you can wear even after the clock strikes midnight.
