I just got back from Miami and I’m already packing for a weekend getaway to Laguna Beach! We’ll be traveling a lot this month, but that’s what the summer is for right? So today I wanted to share with you where we stayed, what we did and what I wore in beautiful South Beach. Don’t forget to check out the video at the end!

Where We Stayed:

We stayed at the Surfcomber hotel in South Beach and it was gorgeous. This boutique hotel is right on the water and the service is incredible. Everyone is so welcoming and nice. You can also get your own chairs and umbrella so you don’t have to lug it back and forth to the beach.

Something that’s really unique about the Surfcomber is that it has this “herd” of friends. So fun! Pictured here is Dexter the hipster (left), Lola the beach babe (right) and Valentina the full-time fashionista (bottom). You KNOW I had to get my pic with Valentina. She was terrible at hoola-hooping. She just stood there. :/

What We Did…

Thursday night we ate at SushiSamba and the music was fantastic! It was a great place for us to eat on our first night because we were all ready to dance and let loose. It’s also a really quick walk from the hotel. We actually thought about staying there and dancing the rest of the night, but we already had plans to go to LIV nightclub. If you follow me on Snapchat you saw how wild it gets in there. Beat drops about every 30 seconds and people go nuts (us included!)

Friday we ate at The Front Porch Cafe and refueled for the night ahead. I recommend the peach bellini martini! Later, we checked out The Cleavlender and danced our butts off. The music was the perfect mix of old-school jams and current hits. After that, we hit up Story Nightclub and got a great table by the dance floor. Niiiiice!

Saturday we hopped on a yacht and sailed around Miami. I highly recommend getting Captin Joe. He’s the best! The boat was gorgeous and they even had enormous floaties for us to get on when we got to the sandbar. Seriously, one was the size of a small living room! We listened to Beyonce the whole way out because, well… that’s just what you do when you’re on a yacht. We also learned about all the celebrity houses that we passed by. We saw Frank Sinatra’s old home, David Beckham’s Miami getaway, Ricky Martin’s Miami place, and the list goes on. So much fun, and by far my favorite part of the trip.
