If you haven’t heard of the “hat effect” before, let me fill you in…

“The Hat Effect” basically means that adding a hat to any outfit instantly makes it more appealing. If you don’t normally wear hats, it may feel a little awkward at first. But, after awhile you’ll fall in love and realize just how great they really are!

I dipped my toe into the hat pool earlier this year. I tried wearing more baseball caps to start, then fedoras, then baker boy hats. Not only do they look amazing and pull an outfit together, they’re great options for those days when you just don’t feel like doing your hair. I’ll either do a quick brush through or pull it into a low messy bun before throwing a hat on. It makes all the difference!
