Slides (or backless loafers or loafer mules) are both stylish and comfortable. Don’t get me wrong, I still adore my stilettos, but when I’m running around taking care of errands and going to meetings – slides are the perfect option.

WHAT I WORE
I actually picked this jacket up at a thrift store the other day. It was in the men’s section and still had tags on it! It also has shearling inside, which will be nice when the temperatures drop.
I’ve also been wearing this hat from asos on repeat. (See how else I wore it here). I hesitated on the buy wondering if I’d really ever use it. So glad I decided to stop being a wimp and finally hit the “buy now” button.
As for the shoes… I’m always grabbing these gold slides when I’m wearing cigarette pants or skinny jeans. They’re so comfortable and make me look way more pulled together than I actually am. Ha!
THE SLIDES OBSESSION
The slide trend started over a year ago, but thanks to new patterns and shapes it’s now become a closet staple. I personally love the pointed toe versions because they elongate the leg (something I’m always looking to do!) From sleek classic black to fun florals, I’ve rounded up a few that could take you from the office to happy hour.
FASHION FORWARD SLIDES
A HUGE THANK YOU!
I just wanted to take the time to thank everyone who purchased a #FightLikeAGirl t-shirt. Some of you even purchased multiple! Good news is, they’re still on sale. With Breast Cancer Awareness month coming up (October), I wanted to keep sales open for those wanting to purchase “The Audrey“. Proceeds from that specific t-shirt will be donated to The National Breast Cancer Foundation.
All other t-shirts help raise money for the Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance Fund. This is a project inspired by my momma, Angela, and all the women out there who are fighting cancer like a straight up badass. All t-shirts are named after women who have battled or are currently battling women’s cancer. I hope you can join the fight against women’s cancer by raising awareness and money for research!
