I recently went to a local salon to get my lashes lifted, and I’m so happy with the results I figured why not share?! In this post I’ll explain what it is, how long it lasts, what it costs and more!

If you’re not familiar with this process… allow me to fill you in.

Lash Lifting is a gentle way to amplify the lashes you already have. A trained professional first uses wipes to remove any oils that may be surrounding your lashes. Then, they comb your lashes before applying silicone pads on your top lids. After that, a perming lotion or lifting balm is applying to the lashes. It’s left on for 7 minutes. Then, another layer of lotion is applied and left on for another 7 minutes. I also got my lashes tinted, so there was another layer and another few more minutes of wait time. All in all, it takes about 30 minutes, and is expected to last up to 12 weeks! The cost is about $90.

If you’re the type of person who doesn’t like a lot of upkeep and prefers the natural makeup look, this procedure is definitely for you. Also, if your lashes go straight down, or if you don’t have a lot of lashes, lash lifting definitely gives you a little extra POW. However, if you’re constantly wearing a lot of makeup and use false lashes often, this may not be the best procedure for you as it can be difficult to apply falsies since your real lashes are so curled they get in the way.

*My eyes look a little red in this photo, but by the time I got to my car and looked in the mirror they were totally fine.

It’s been about a week since I got my lashes done, and they’re still very curled. The tint doesn’t last too long, but it really doesn’t matter because your lashes are so visible your eyes already look wider and more awake. I’d say if you’re going back and forth between a Lash Lift and Lash Extensions, try the Lash Lift first. It’s more cost effective, and much less upkeep.

I got my lashes lifted at Microbladers here in Las Vegas. The owner, Danielle, is actually the one who did mine and she was so sweet! We ended up talking the whole time and she made me feel so comfortable. She seemed to be a bit of a perfectionist, which is nice when someone is working on your face! If you’re going to Mircrobladers, I highly recommend asking for Danielle. When you go, tell her I said hi!

Also, Microbladers is offering a great deal right now. If you buy one lash lift ($90) now through the end of the year, you’ll get another one for half off. You can keep it for yourself or give to a friend/loved one as a gift.

Love, Lindsey
