It was a blazing 108 degrees outside when I wore this outfit. I was running around trying to get things done for the new house, so I needed an outfit that was comfortable, but would also keep me cool.
SHOP MY LOOK
*Full disclosure, I’m still in “Das Boot” and it’ll be about two more weeks before I can officially kick it to the curb. But, I figured it would be OK to take it off for a few outfit photos. It’s not that cute and totally clashed 🙂
If you haven’t jumped on the vintage Levi’s train yet, I highly recommend it. These are light wash old-school Levi’s 501’s and they button up the front. They’re so comfortable I could basically live in them. (I’m actually wearing them right now sitting on the floor typing this post because my charger chord won’t reach the couch. They feel like jammies they’re so comfortable.)
I’ll oftentimes tuck my top into my high waisted jeans, but this crop top from Shein hits at just the right spot. I love the embroidery detail and the lace up front. I also recently ordered an adorable asymmetrical striped top from shein.com. To see how I wore it, click here. To prevent another fractured foot, I stuck to flats and I threw on my favorite Ray-Ban sunnies.
NEW HOUSE UPDATE
I’d love to give you a full update on all the craziness that went down today, but honestly I’m dead tired and I can barely read the words I’m typing. However, I did take some pictures of the new paint. I can’t wait to show you what a difference it made! I have before and after pictures of the paint job. If you’d like, I could take some photos of how we style things along the way. Is that something you’d be in to? If so, let me know and I’ll make sure to snap some pics as we decorate and link all the items we purchase. I’m all about sticking to the budget, and I’ve found some amazing sites/ stores that offer great quality and a killer price tag.
OK friends, I’m off to bed! As always, thank so much for stopping by. And a special thank you to everyone who ordered a #FightLikeAGirl t-shirt. It means more than you know and I’m so happy we can all help empower women and girls everywhere while raising money for women’s cancer research!
