I’ve been watching the T-Rex sweatshirt trend since Selena Gomez wore a Dino sweater back in January. Then, I saw similar styles on people like Jared Leto and Kate Moss. After doing some research, I spotted this T-Rex Sweatshirt for under $25 and knew I had to have it.

WHY YOU’LL LOVE IT

A T-Rex sweatshirt is just weird enough. It looks like something you would find in a thrift store from the 80’s, but it’s ust ironic enough that it’s actually cool. I had it in my online shopping bag for a full week before I decided just how much I actually needed it. The more you look at it, the more you love it.

HOW I STYLED IT

While this T-Rex sweatshirt is definitely a statement piece and can be worn with jeans and some cool studded sliders, I wanted to dress it up a little more. I paired it with a wrap waist army green skirt that I found at Nordstrom Rack (similar here and here) and my new favorite metallic gold booties. I also love this Coach Dinky Crossbody bag for the fall. It’s the perfect size and comes in multiple colors!

OTHER WAYS TO STYLE  IT

• Tuck into a leather mini and some booties for a night out
• Wear it to work with a collared shirt underneath, some slacks, heels and a leather bag
• When it gets cold outside, wear it underneath a blazer paired with your favorite jeans
• Wear it with a maxi skirt and sneaks for a casual feel
