Bandana neck tie

IMG_5313
Looking to try out the bandana neck tie trend? Here’s a simple way to do it. The equation: white top + jeans + heels. It’s an incredibly easy way to make your outfit feel fresh. It also adds a pop of color to an otherwise neutral look. Also, if you haven’t tried out Etienne Marcel jeans I highly recommend them! They fit like a glove and are also incredibly comfortable.

Off the shoulder and Lace-up sandals

IMG_5215
By now you’ve probably noticed that the off the shoulder trend is huge right now. The style is popping up on dresses and tops everywhere,  giving us an alternative neckline for spring and summer. I kept the accessories on the bohemian side  for that care-free look. My only downside with these sandals is that they fall down… a lot! So I linked up two other versions that will give you the same look, but should actually stay up.

Stripes and Leather

IMG_5147
Happy Friday everyone! Here’s a work get-up that’s comfortable and casual, but still dressy enough to wear to your office (especially on a Friday!) Considering I have a massive amount of t-shirts, I like to find new ways to work them into my outfits. A leather pencil skirt adds a little edge and dresses it up a bit. I hope you all had a great week, and Happy Easter!

Fringe Binge

Fringe Binge

Fringe fashion is having a major moment right now. From skirts to jackets, shoes, bags and more, it’s been seen all over the spring 2016 fashion runways. There’s no doubt the style is steaming hot, and you should most definitely get in on it.

The warmer months is a time when I personally tap into my super boho style, and this trend is the perfect addition to my growing 70’s inspired wardrobe. What can I say? I’m on a fringe binge and no one can stop me!

I’ve posed a few of my faves and tried not to pick out anything too expensive. But honestly, I think this trend is here to stay for awhile. So, if you want to splurge it’s definitely acceptable at this point.

Seasonless Black Vest

Happy Tuesday everyone! I hope your week is off to a good start. This is an outfit I wore to work the other day. I’ve told you before how much I love vests because they allow me to have that layered look even when it’s 110 degrees outside.  I love this one in particular because it’s truly seasonless.

Army Green Utility Vest

Why Get a Utility Vest:

If you don’t already have a military or utility vest I highly recommend you get one. They’re actually very versatile and the one I’m wearing is only $30! I went for a lightweight one considering the weather is about to heat up here in Vegas. I love layering, but in the summer that can be difficult. I find that vests are a great way to get that layered look without burning up like I would in a blazer or cardigan. I’m getting overheated just thinking about it. I don’t care who you are… humans should not live in 115 degree weather. Maybe it’ll be a mild summer though right? A girl can dream.

Happy Sunday everyone! Are you watching the Oscars? I am! (follow me on twitter to join the conversation). I was really impressed with this year’s red carpet looks. I feel like in the recent years we’ve seen a lot of the same old same old when it comes to the Academy Awards fashion, but this year I was pleasantly surprised! From Lady Gaga’s jumpsuit to Chrissy Teigen’s baby bump debut I loved it all! I’ve included a few of my favorites from tonight because I just can’t help myself!
