As if we needed any more reason to shop amiright? But, in case you did, there are some great products out there that will help raise money for Breast Cancer and Ovarian Cancer…

#FightLikeAGirl : THE AUDREY
You’ve probably been noticing a lot of companies pumping out pretty pink products lately. October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, and it’s a cause I’m happy to get behind. The tee I’m wearing here is called The Audrey and named after a former co-worker of mine who battled breast cancer. Proceeds from The Audrey will benefit the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
I’ve also linked some pretty rad products that will donate part or all of their proceeds to breast cancer awareness.

CAN I RANT FOR A SEC?
I’m going to get real here…
I’ve always been supportive of Breast Cancer Awareness month. However, with my mom currently battling Ovarian Cancer, I have to say I’m a little disappointed with the amount of companies that create similar “limited edition” products for the month of September (Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month).
Don’t get me wrong, I think ANY cancer-awareness cause is beneficial. But, with ovarian cancer on the rise and with it being so difficult to detect, I’d like to see more brands pumping out terrific teal pieces as much as they push their pretty pink ones. It’s one of the reasons I started The Noms Niche #FightLikeAGirl Collection in the first place. (see the full post here) Proceeds from The Angela, The Mona and The Kaye will go to ovarian cancer research.
I was going to do a specific blog post showcasing products that benefit Ovarian Cancer last month, but my heart dropped when I couldn’t find very many. I’ll probably send some emails out to a few companies about this. I can’t complain about something if I don’t at least try to initiate some change, right?
However, I was able to find a few, and I linked those below.

OK, rant over!!!
Thank you so much for stopping by The Noms Niche and for reading through my rant (it’s ok if you didn’t. I get it.) Also, thank you for all the prayers for Las Vegas and for everyone who’s donated to the Las Vegas Victims Fund. This will help families with surgeries, funerals, and any other financial support we can provide. #VegasStrong
