5 WAYS TO STYLE A BELT BAG OR FANNY PACK

Belt bags, fanny packs, bumbags, whatever you want to call them… they are THE top accessory of 2018. Here’s how I’m styling the “it” bag trend five different ways.

OVER A MIDI OR MAXI DRESS

I love how a belt bag can give your outfit a little bit of shape, especially when worn over a midi dress. This slip dress is a little loose, but with the belt I’m able to cinch my waist a bit. Plus, it adds a little something extra to the outfit.

OVER A HIGH WAISTED PAIR OF PANTS OR JEANS

Probably one of the easiest ways to wear the belt bag is with a pair of high waisted pants or jeans and a t-shirt or another top that you can easily tuck in. You can go for a neutral color pallet or have fun with all the different color options available out there right now!

OVER A LONGLINE BLAZER

You can wear your belt bag / fanny pack over any of your longline blazers or jackets. I recommend a longer hemline so you don’t  get bunching of the jacket. Plus, it looks better when it comes to proportions. I wore mine over a t-shirt, plaid blazer and biker shorts, but it would also look great with a pair of jeans or cigarette pants if it’s already chilly in your neck of the woods.

DRAPED OVER YOUR SHOULDER

Probably one of the easiest ways to rock the look is to simply drape it around your shoulders! I mean really… you can wear it like this with pretty much any outfit.

OVER A SHIRT-DRESS

Just as the belt bag looks great with a midi or maxi dress, it also looks really fresh when worn over a shirt dress that’s unbuttoned. Have a long kimono? It looks really cool worn with that as well!
